School Can Be Useful: The Office Pavlov Dog Experiment
I know I promised that I wouldn’t blog anything about school but it couldn’t be helped. There are important things that you can learn in school.
Anyway I was recalling last semester Psychology class and we learned that Ivan Petrovich Pavlov observed the physical responses of a dog using stimuli. Whenever he rang a bell or a buzzer he would give the dog food and he continued to ring a bell or buzzer every time the dog was to be feed. He noticed that when he rang the bell and food wasn’t brought to the dog then the dog would still salivate.
Here is an illustration for the slow people out there. I know your kind exist.
So what’s the point? That this experiment would also be a good way to screw with people. Take an example from the British style comedy The Office. A modern take on Pavlov’s dog experiment. I so want to try this on someone. You have to watch the video to enjoy this post.
Oh anyway I think I’m going to do multiple post a day to make up for the days I missed when I’m in school. That’s how it’s going to work out.

I heard she took them only for Zac to see but someone leaked it out. And on another site, it said that Disney decided to keep her because she was such a big hit in HSM and hopes that she learned her lesson. I also heard that she took those pictures BEFORE HSM.

Oh, this is funny… it’s like everytime that guy logs in or out he gives that guy a candy or something… and the guy just sticks his hand out… at the end he just becomes confused and befuddled xD

This may sound fucking weird, but my dad, being the mad wannabe scientist, did this to me and kinda experimented on me when I was young. But he used a different medium instead of a bell. Thanks to him, I’m now a firm believer of the Pavlovian theory. And I’d like to think that Pavlovian experimentation on your own offspring is the way to go! And maybe if I have kids (heaven forbid WTF hahahaha), I’ll try some negative reinforcement operant conditioning on them.

My prof in Psychology too gave an example like that. I can even remember how she moves her head in a weird way. eeek.
ANyway, try watching KYLE XY. It’s not a love story. It’s about getting clues. Be sure you watch it at the very beginning. It will confuse you.

That experiment sounds quite funny, I have heard of people doing something similar with their kids but I had no idea what it was called.
Now I have this sudden urge to try The Pavlov Dog experiment on someone…:P
And for the comment; yeah I always get comments that people could wake up the dead then me. The worst is if I fall asleep on the bus, which causes me to wake up on the other side of the city :D.
